When we were asked to work on this super fun project our immediate answer was “YES!”
Postales bien Cool is a fun, exciting, bilingual/spanglish postcards line. Client will be able to purchase unique
postcards – those that you
definitely can’t find at store but defiitely portray what you are thinking. They are blunt, straighforward and funny as hell!
What do you think about the
logo? We couldn’t be more proud! Make sure to like them on Facebook: www.facebook.com/postalesbiencool

If you’ve paid attention, you’d know we’ve been throwing some clues out there. On our latest article “Rebranding: The exception to the Rule”, we talked in detail about the reasons to rebrand, when to do
it, how it should be done, and more.
Since the launch of Pink Studios in 2009 – we’ve come a long way. The past year has been fantastic for us. We’ve had the pleasure of working with so many great clients, many new opportunities have come our way, numerous amounts of compliments and referrals from happy clients and we just could not be happier. When we first started with this crazy idea called Pink Studios, we never imagined the success we would have. We grabbed our MacBook, a notebook, drafted a quick logo and Pink Studios was born. At that moment, there wasn’t much thought put into what our logo would be, we just wanted something with pink on it and that was it. We didn’t do much brainstorming like we usually do. Our time was spent on getting work
done for our clients.
As time has passed, we’ve realized that we need to expand and become an option to other businesses and our logo and branding was a limitation. Without further ado, we are happy to unveil our newest logo design.
We would DIE to know what you think about it. Please comment below 🙂

Often, we are asked to design logos for clients. Heck, that’s one of
the things we love the most. I am obsessed with logos; I take pictures of them, I imagine them on my head, I pin them, I talk about them, I over-analyze them. You get the picture…
While some clients are completely open to our expertise and design suggestions when it comes to their logos, some have a strong idea of what they want. However, there are several aspects that need to be considered when designing logos: does it appeal to your target market?, good color options, size, contrast, fonts. Make it relevant, make it memorable.
Let’s talk about fonts. One of my biggest design pet-peeves is the implementation of over-used fonts for a brand. Often, clients feel that because their logo uses a specific font, everything needs to have that font. Have you seen entire websites with fancy typography? It’s hideous and extremely hard to read. Free tip for you right there. Keep that in mind.
Below we list some of the most over-used fonts out there.
- Mistral
- Comic Sans MS
- Curlz MT
- Kristen ITC
- Papyrus
- Bradley Hand ITC
- Courier
- Scriptina
- Brush Script
- Hobo Std
- Jokerman
Also, avoid at all costs using fonts from famous brands. No Coca-Cola, no Barbie, no Star Wars, no Spiderman.
Take a look at theses famous logos and how they’d look if they were made with some of these fonts: Comic Sans – Papyrus – Jokerman .
Recommendation? Try avoiding these at all costs. These will damage your brand, make you look rookie and unprofessional. Stand from the crowd! Give your logo the professionalism it deserves and make it memorable with the details.
Are you guilty of using any of these?
